This role is a temporary, part-time position providing leave coverage.

About the role
n
The Inpatient Administration Officer provides accurate, timely and patient-focused administrative support to the NUM and healthcare team. Key responsibilities include admissions, transfers and discharges, patient records, transport, data entry, customer service and general ward administration.
n
The role requires confidentiality, accuracy, professionalism and effective communication, while supporting quality improvement and working in line with Calvary's policies, values and procedures.
n
Selection Criteria
n
n
Demonstrated experience in an administrative role in a health care facility and/or a customer focused environment.
n
Ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks in a demanding workload, with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
n
Experience in responding to a range of enquiries and determining the appropriate response in a complex work workplace.
n
Experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
n
Ability to use computer hardware, software applications and electronic systems.
n
High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
n
Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah.
n
