About the Role

MSS Security is seeking a skilled and dependable Security Officer to join our Defence team at a secure Defence facility in the Illawarra region. This is an opportunity to work in a highly trusted environment where attention to detail, professionalism and accountability are essential. As a Casual Security Officer, you will play an important role in supporting the safety and security of Defence personnel, contractors, visitors and critical infrastructure. Working within a Defence environment requires a high standard of integrity and the ability to remain vigilant while delivering exceptional customer service. About You:
n

Current NSW Security License
n




Negative Vetting 1 Defence Clearance or willingness to obtain
n
Current Driver's License
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
n
The ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions
n
n
Key Responsibilities:
n

Access control and visitor management
n
Conducting patrols and security inspections
n
Monitoring compliance with Defence security procedures
n
Responding to incidents and emergencies
n
Building positive relationships with Defence personnel, contractors and visitors
n
Completing accurate reports and documentation
n
n
