Nurse Next Door is a certified Outstanding Place to Work. We are looking to build our care team with a variety of experienced carers who are able to work from a minimum of 20 hours per week.

We are specifically seeking caregivers for shifts throughout the day in the following regions:

Tamborine Mountain

To best support our clients, flexibility and willingness to travel across these regions is required.

About the Role
n
Making Lives Better® and Happier Ageing® are at the heart of what we do — enabling members of our ageing and disabled community to live a fulfilling life at home as long as possible, doing what they love to do.

We provide around-the-clock care, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon evening, or overnight to meet our client's needs.
n
Responsibilities
n
n
Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised
n
Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport and companionship
n
Deliver care in accordance with the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
n
Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
n
Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
n
Work with a supportive and dynamic team
n
Ongoing training

Coachable
n
Previous caregiving experience is an asset.
n
Manual Handling experience is highly regarded
n
Must be able to speak and write in English. Other languages will be an asset!
n
Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Ambassadors when needed.
n
Reliable way to get to and from the client's homes.
n
Drivers with their own vehicle will be an asset
n
n
Mandatory Requirements
n
n
Minimum Certificate III in either Aged care, Community, Individual Support, Disability, or industry experience is highly regarded
n
Ability to work weekends is highly regarded.
n
National Police Check (Aged Care/Vulnerable Persons Sector)
n
Working With Children Check - Blue Card
n
NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
n
NDIS Worker Screener Clearance - Yellow Card
n
First Aid & CPR certificates (can be obtained later in the recruitment process)
n
Candidates of any work status will be considered for this position
