We are currently recruiting for ten full-time positions based in Townsville, Ingham and surrounding areas. You will support participants with high physical, intellectual, and/or mental health needs. Your responsibilities may include:
n
n
Personal care: showering, grooming, dressing, and medication assistance
n
Domestic support: light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
n
Community access & transport: attending appointments, social outings, grocery shopping
n
Monitoring & reporting: tracking participant progress and reporting concerns
n
Effective communication with participants, families, and team members
n
Behavioural support for individuals with complex or high-intensity needs
n
n
Shifts include weekdays, evenings, weekends, overnights, and sleepovers. Supporting individuals with complex behavioural needs and high intensity participants
n

We are looking for both male and female support workers who have experience in the disability sector and are committed to providing person-centered care.

NDIS Workers Screening or ability to obtain before commencing employment
n
Completed NDIS Worker Orientation 'Quality, Safety and You Module
n
Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
n
Current, valid paid Blue Card
n
Current Queensland driver's licence or international driver's licence (that permits use in QLD)
n
Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance (business or professional use listed clearly & Commercial registration not private)
n
Smart Phone with internet access
n
n
Desirable qualities:
n
n
Experience working in the disability sector
n
Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification
n
Ability to work well as part of a team
n
Strong communication & confidentiality skills
n
Ability to use various smartphone apps for rostering, shift notes and communication
n
Excellent initiative and time management skills
