Bakery Assistant/Customer Service/Dishwasher

A local dessert business is looking for an All-Rounder Team Member for a varied, hands-on role covering bakery assistance work, retail service, dishwashing, market work and content creation.
n
Key responsibilities
n
General food preparation, baking, dessert assembly and/or cake decorating
n
Serving customers at our active night market and/or storefront, including setup and pack-down
n
Washing kitchen dishes and maintaining a clean, organised and sanitary kitchen and market area
n
Helping film photos and videos for our social media, including being comfortable participating in content yourself
n
Stock control, restocking ingredients and supplies, and helping keep everything organised
n
Assisting with receiving, organising and delivering stock/orders
n
Shift Requirements
n
Early mornings (possibly from 5am)
n
Late nights (finishing *****pm)
n
Day or night shifts
n
About you
n




Availability for varying shift times or last minute shifts
n
Current driver's licence
n
Ability to lift up to 25kg
n
Excellent attention to detail
n
Confidence working autonomously and getting tasks done without constant supervision
n
Ability to work well within a small team
n
Reliable, punctual and genuinely keen to work
n
Comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace
n
Previous experience in baking, cake decorating, or any dessert preparation is highly desirable
n
Previous experience as a kitchen hand or bakery assistant or in preparing food
n
Previous experience working at markets or events, retail or customer service
n
Experience in creating engaging social media content is a bonus
n
Being comfortable on camera!
