Join Capral's Maintenance team at our Canning Vale extrusion manufacturing facility, where you'll maintain heavy industrial plant and automated equipment while enjoying the benefit of being home every night.

This is a permanent full time role, working a rotating day and afternoon shift roster with shift allowances, plus overtime and call-back opportunities.

About the Role
n
You'll be responsible for keeping our extrusion plant operating safely and efficiently through preventative maintenance, breakdown response and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Respond to plant breakdowns and minimise downtime
n
Complete planned preventative maintenance
n
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
n
Maintain extrusion and automated manufacturing equipment
n
Identify opportunities to improve plant reliability and performance
n
Work closely with production teams, contractors and suppliers.
n

About You
n
Essential
n
n
Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
n
Ability to work a rotating day and afternoon shift roster
n
Experience reading hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
n
Hydraulic and pneumatic fault-finding experience
n
Welding knowledge and experience
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
Fixed plant maintenance experience within manufacturing or heavy industry
n
Steel fabrication experiencePLC and automation knowledge.
n
Forklift Licence, Dogging Ticket or other High Risk licences.
n
