Job Description
A GP Practice in Burleigh Heads seeks dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Burleigh Heads, Queensland. This is a part-time position that offers flexibility whilst providing essential nursing support to our general practice operations. You will play a vital role in delivering quality patient care and supporting our clinical team in a fast-paced medical setting.

What you'll be doing

Providing direct patient care and undertaking nursing assessments in line with clinical protocols
n
Supporting general practitioners with clinical procedures and patient consultations
n
Maintaining accurate and timely patient records and documentation
n
Administering medications and vaccinations as per medical directives
n
Taking patient vital signs and monitoring patient health status
n
Preparing treatment areas and ensuring infection control standards are maintained
n
Communicating effectively with patients to ensure they understand their care and treatment plans
n
Contributing to the smooth running of the practice and assisting with administrative duties as required
n

What we're looking for
n
n
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse
n
A relevant nursing qualification and demonstrated clinical experience in a primary healthcare or general practice setting
n
Strong clinical knowledge and competency in patient assessment and care delivery
n




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with patients, doctors and colleagues
n
A commitment to maintaining professional standards and continuing professional development
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
n
Current immunisations and a clear police check (as required for healthcare roles)
n
Preferred experience in general practice nursing or community health settings
n
