Job Description
Plascorp, one of Australia's leading privately-owned manufacturers and distributors of Industrial Ducting, Mine Ventilation, PVC Pipe, and Steel Reinforcing solutions, is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
n
Fabricate, assemble and weld structural reinforcing steel and heavy-gauge metal components.
n
Cut, bend and shape steel according to technical drawings, blueprints and client specifications.
n
Operate fabrication equipment including welders, plasma cutters, benders, overhead gantry cranes and forklifts.
n
Carry out machine set-ups, changeovers and pre-start equipment checks.
n
Perform quality inspections to ensure compliance with ISO ****, ACRS and project requirements.
n
Repair and maintain fabricated steel products and components.
n
Assist with basic maintenance and troubleshooting of production machinery.
n




Participate in continuous improvement and workplace safety initiatives.
n
Meet daily production targets and complete accurate production reports.
n
Skills and experience required:
n
Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
n
Minimum 3 years' experience in metal fabrication or structural steel work.
n
Proficiency in welding, cutting and fabrication equipment.
n
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
n
Strong time management, safety awareness, and ability to work independently or in a team.
