Dental Receptionist / Medical Receptionist

We have a rare chance for a Dental Receptionist tojoin our friendly team at Kalo Dental in the heart of St George, in Carlton.
n
Kalo Dental is a family-owned practice that provides a quality of dental care that brings positive change in how our patients view going to the dentist!
n
As a member of our reception team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients experience is exceptional, from the moment they first make contact with the practice or walk into our doors. Our reception team are renowned amongst the community for their warm, caring and empathetic nature.
n
The role will involve:
n
Greeting patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment and a great first impression
n
Answering phone calls and emails promptly and professionally
n
Scheduling appointments and managing the calendar efficiently
n
Collecting patient information and updating records accurately
n
Handling administrative tasks such as filing, emailing, and scanning documents
n
Handling payments, with consideration to private health insurance and Government vouchers
n
Coordinating with other staff members to ensure smooth operations
n
Resolving patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism
n
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation at the front desk area and staff common areas
n
Collaborating with the clinical team to optimise patient care and flow.
n
The successful applicant will need to be available on:
n
Mondays 8:45am – 4:15pm,
n
Saturdays 7:45am – 12:30pm
n
