The Prospect
n We are partnering with a large, multi-site, complex organisation to recruit an experienced Commercial Finance Business Partnerfor an initial 6-month contract
n
This is a hands-on and commercially focused role where you will work closely with senior operational and business leaders across multiple locations. You will play a key role in driving financial performance through insightful analysis, forecasting and commercial decision support.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and detailed variance analysis across multiple business units
n
Analyse profitability, pricing, operating costs and performance, identifying key risks and opportunities
n
Partner with operational and senior leaders through monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews
n
Support CAPEX budgeting, approvals, capitalisation and selected balance sheet activities
n
Review payroll, fleet, materials, subcontractor and cost centre expenditure, providing meaningful commercial insights
n
Support financial month-end activities and broader business planning processes
n
Ensure accurate financial reporting, cost allocations and ERP postings
n




Provide ad-hoc commercial analysis and support to senior finance and operational stakeholders
n

About You To be successful in this opportunity, you will ideally have:
n
n
CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years' post-qualification experience in Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering
n
Strong hands-on SAP ERP experience is essential
n
Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
n
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to turn financial data into practical business insights
n
Proven experience managing senior stakeholders across a complex, cross-functional or matrix environment
n
A proactive self-starter who can work independently and manage competing priorities
n
Power BI, Power Query and/or Power Automate experience will be highly regarded
n
Availability to commence ASAP or on short notice
n
