Job Description
CELOTTI WORKFORCE is partnering with a leading civil construction company to source an experienced Civil Leading Hand for ongoing projects across Moreton Bay and North Brisbane.

We are seeking a confident and experienced Leading Hand with a strong civil construction background. Experience working around electrical services and underground infrastructure is highly desirable, with the ability to read and interpret electrical and service plans.
n
Subdivision and infrastructure experience will also be considered, however, candidates must have a solid understanding of civil construction and be comfortable working around services.
n
The majority of projects will be based across Brisbane's Northside and Moreton Bay regions, however, the successful candidate must be flexible to travel to different project locations as required.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and coordinate civil construction crews on site
n
Assist with the day-to-day supervision of site activities
n
Read and interpret electrical and service plans
n
Work safely around existing electrical services and underground infrastructure
n
Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to project requirements
n
Coordinate with supervisors, management and site personnel
n
Maintain high standards of safety, quality and productivity
n
Assist with hands-on civil construction duties when required
n

Our Ideal Candidate
n
n
Previous experience as a Civil Leading Hand
n
Strong civil construction experience
n
Experience working around electrical services highly desirable
n
Ability to read and interpret service and electrical plans
n




Subdivision or infrastructure experience advantageous
n
Strong understanding of civil construction practices
n
Construction White Card
n
Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
n
Strong leadership and communication skills
n
Reliable, hardworking and safety-focused
n
Willingness to travel between project sites as required
n

What We Can Offer
n

$50/hr + penalties
n
Weekly pay
n
Monday to Friday | 6:30am – 5:00pm
n
Ongoing work with a view to permanent employment after 2–3 months
n
Potential to negotiate a higher travel rate while temporary
n
Company vehicle provided once permanent
