We design, engineer, manufacture, and assemble a diverse range of underground coal diesel equipment, including Personnel Transporters, Graders, Underground Dozers, and Longwall Chock Carriers.

The Opportunity
n
We are seeking a Trade Assistant to join our Team, supporting workshop activities across new build and refurbishment projects for underground mining equipment. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with experienced tradespeople and supervisors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in a mining or heavy industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist tradespeople with fitting, assembly, and repair tasks
n




Prepare tools, parts, and equipment for scheduled work
n
Perform general labouring duties including grinding, cleaning and painting
n
Support manual handling and movement of components
n
Participate in safety processes, including hazard reporting and risk assessments
n
Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment
n
n
What We're Looking For

n
Previous experience in a workshop or trade environment
n
Robust commitment to WHS
n
Good communication and teamwork skills
n
Drivers license
n
Current HR License - Fork Truck
n
Experience working around heavy industrial or mining equipment
n
n
Preferred Qualifications

Overhead Crane Competency RIIHAN305D
