MSS Base Fire Alarm Installer is one of Sydney's Leading Fire Protection companies and have been providing Design and Construct Fire Services for over 20 years.
n
Due to ongoing and growing demand we now have a great opportunity available to employ a qualified and experienced Fire Alarm Installer/Electrician on a permanent basis to join our construction team.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
Install fire detection, alarm and EWIS systems, including wiring, devices, panels and associated equipment.
n
Carry out system testing, commissioning, repairs, modifications and fault rectification.
n
Read and interpret drawings, schematics and project specifications.
n
Coordinate with supervisors, project managers and other trades to deliver works efficiently.
n
Ensure all work meets Australian Standards, legislation, project requirements and safety standards.
n
Experience required:
n
Current unrestricted NSW Electrical Licence,



Construction White Card and Australian Driver Licence.
n
Demonstrated experience installing fire detection, alarm and EWIS systems on construction sites.
n
Experience with fire indicator panels, occupant warning systems, building-services interfaces, wiring and equipment fit-off.
n
Knowledge of relevant fire detection and electrical Australian Standards, with manufacturer/industry training highly regarded.
n
Solid communication, teamwork and organisational skills with a reliable, safety-focused approach.
n
Valid Work Rights
n

You must be an Australian Citizen, Australia Permanent Resident or have a valid working visa.
n
You must be able to obtain police clearance and working with children check.
