Skilled Meat Workers or Beef Processing Plant Labourer/Process Worker

EC Throsby Pty Ltd is seeking experienced 50 Beef Processing Plant Labourers/Process Workers to join our team at our facility in Whittingham, NSW. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work in a agile manufacturing and processing environment within the meat processing industry. You will be responsible for executing skilled assembly and process work that is essential to our production operations, contributing directly to the efficiency and quality of our beef processing operations.

Key responsibilities
n
Operating and maintaining meat processing equipment and machinery in accordance with safety and hygiene standards
n
Performing skilled cutting, trimming, and preparation of beef products following standardised procedures
n
Monitoring product quality and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and company standards
n
Assisting with the assembly and packaging of processed meat products for distribution
n
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the processing areas, including equipment sanitation
n
Working collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
n
Following all health and safety protocols and reporting potential hazards or incidents
n
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the processing facility
n
What we're looking for

Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards
n




Ability to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced production environment
n
Physical capability to perform manual labour tasks and standing for extended periods
n
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high product quality standards
n
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
n
Reliability and strong work ethic with a focus on meeting production targets
n
Current understanding of relevant workplace health and safety requirements
n
Relevant certifications or qualifications in meat processing or food handling (preferred but not essential)
n
Must be available to work a six-day rotating roster Monday to Saturday
