Clerk Grade 5/6, base salary ($102,936 - $113,579), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Murwillumbah / Lismore hub

Your role
n
The role supervises a team to meet statutory obligations and deliver high-quality client services. It promotes ethical conduct and high performance to support service excellence and organisational goals. The role may act as a Registrar or Deputy Registrar, overseeing resources, leading a small team, and undertaking quasi-judicial and procedural responsibilities.
n
Circuit and relieving staff are required to possess a current Drivers Licence and be willing to travel, including overnight stays.
n
This role has potential exposure to psychosocial hazards in workplace
n
What You'll Do
n
n
Lead and develop registry staff, effectively allocating resources to ensure high-quality service delivery and achievement of operational objectives.
n
Implement training, coaching, and procedural improvements to ensure staff remain current with legislative, policy, and procedural changes.
n
Provide expert operational advice and reporting to senior management, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, service quality, and client outcomes.
n
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of streamlined and effective work practices.
n
Foster an inclusive, safe, and high-performing workplace culture that values diversity, wellbeing, ethical conduct, and employee development.
n
Exercise sound judgment and discretion in registry operations, including the performance of quasi-judicial and procedural functions where delegated as Registrar or Deputy Registrar.

Judgement, Decision-Making and Adaptability – Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement, manage competing priorities, adapt to changing legislative and operational requirements, and make informed decisions in complex situations.
