Bathers beach house has an amazing opportunity for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our fantastic kitchen family.

Located right on the sands of Bathers Beach in Fremantle, we are a modern multi-storey venue catering to beachside dining through to weddings, functions and special events. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional food, memorable experiences and a supportive team culture.

YOUR ROLE:
n
n
Work closely with the Head Ched to lead, support and inspire our kitchen team
n
Oversee kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef
n
Contribute to seasonal menu changes, including a' la carte, function menus and daily specials
n
Mentor and train our kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment
n
Maintain a strong knowledge of food safety, health and hygiene
n
n
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
n
n
2-3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a larger venue
n
Outstanding culinary skills with a strong understanding of food preparation techniques,
flavour profiles and presentation
n
Excellent time management, problem solving and multitasking abilities
n
Passion for fresh, seasonal and local sourced ingredients
n
Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
A positive can-do attitude – above all, a great human with a sense of humour
n
