Parents and Citizens Associations Award – State **** rates OSHC & Vacation Care stream (depends on qualifications and experience, please note that junior rates may apply)

About the Role You'll support children's wellbeing, learning, and play through engaging, child‐led experiences. Our casual educators work across before school care, after school care, and vacation care, with adaptable shifts available.

What We're Looking For:

A warm, inclusive approach with genuine interest in children's safety, wellbeing, and development

Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a child‐safe culture
n
Reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn
n
Current Blue Card (or ability to obtain one)
n
Current First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
n
No formal Qualifications are prerequisite for this position
n
Qualified Educators require a Minimum Certificate III qualification in an area relevant to working with children. A range of study areas may be recognised including: behavioural science, community services, creative arts, education, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, sports and recreation and human welfare studies. A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based setting
n
Knowledge of national quality framework, My Time Our Place is desirable.
n
Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
n
Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain)
n
Complete the GECKO Child Safety Online Training
n
