Job Description
Deliver high impact care in a specialised cardiology unit
n Grow skills within a supportive multidisciplinary team

Manage complex cardiac care, build robust patient outcomes and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality cardiology nursing services.

What you'll be doing
n In this role, you will provide high quality, person centred nursing care to cardiology patients, ensuring optimal health outcomes through clinical excellence and teamwork.
n
n
Deliver safe, effective and individualised patient care
n
Assess, monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
n
Coordinate discharge planning and appropriate referrals
n
Supervise and support junior staff and students
n




Advocate for patients and families while managing care priorities
n
n
Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
n
Selection Criteria
n
n
Demonstrated recent nursing experience relevant to the position and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice
n
Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to patient care
n
Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care
n
Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means,; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
