What you'll be doing
n
As a mobile Speech Pathologist, you'll:
n
n
Assess and provide evidence-based intervention for swallowing and communication difficulties.
n
Support adults with complex and changing clinical needs.
n
Provide dysphagia and communication assessment and intervention across residential aged care and community settings.
n
Deliver telehealth assessment and intervention where appropriate.
n
Manage your own calendar, appointments and travel schedule.
n
Work collaboratively with clients, families, support coordinators, facility staff and other healthcare professionals.
n
Provide education and recommendations to clients, families, support staff and colleagues.
n
Advocate for clients and help them maintain their communication, independence, dignity and quality of life.
n
Connect with our national Speech Pathology team to share knowledge and clinical expertise.

About you
n
To join our team, you'll need:

A recognised qualification in Speech Pathology.
n
Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
n
A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle, as this is a mobile role.
n
A passion for supporting adults to live healthier, happier and more independent lives.
n
n
Full-time role, with flexible part-time options available — we'll work with you to find an arrangement that suits your availability.
