The Burleigh Leagues Club are looking for a full-time Duty Manager, to manage its daily operations in their newly renovated venue.
n
The Duty Manager is expected to be hands-on and lead by example. You will be committed to the smooth running of the Venue and be responsible for the face-to-face operations required within a licensed club. This is a position of responsibility therefore requires a dedicated person who has strong attention to detail.
n
We have a great rotational roster on offer, that includes a 4-day week with a mix of days, nights and weekends to give you work life balance.

Responsibilities include:
n
n
Ensure the management, control, safety, and effective operation of the venue including the compliance and management of cash transactions, privacy of information and public liability protection.
n
Ensure the Club is operating efficiently and is compliant with the Clubs policies.
n
Ensure staff are trained in areas of the Club.
n
Report on departmental performance and operations status.
n
Reinforce and adhere to workplace health and safety policies and proactively contribute to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
n




Continually promote marketing and promotional activities to customers.
n
Ensure all club equipment is always maintained and in good working order.
n
Always ensure security of machines, stock, and money.
n
The ability to manage staff effectively.
n
n
It is essential that you have:
n
n
Previous experience as a Duty Manager.
n
Current QLD RSA and RSG.
n
Current QLD RMLV or ability to obtain.
n
Approved Managers License or ability to obtain.
n
Extensive knowledge of Liquor and Gaming Machine Act and AML/CTF Act.
n
Knowledge and experience in Keno, TAB, Gaming and Bar.
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
n
Excellent verbal communication skillswith the ability to build positive, qualified relationships.
n
Experience with managing staff.
n
