The A-Leagues are seeking a talented professional to fulfil the role of Commercial Operations Manager. This role is a partner servicing role that is pivotal in supporting the Commercial team in unlocking partner value through presence in-stadia and on broadcasts, amplifying our commercial partnerships, while also delivering value back to our fans.

The Opportunity:
n
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Integration Manager, the Commercial Operations Manager will work within a rapid-paced environment, in a partner servicing role within the Commercial and Partnership Management team. The Commercial Operations Manager is essential in supporting the Commercial team in the delivery of A-Leagues partners contractual rights to the highest standard. To be successful, this role will require skilled organisation, prioritisation, collaboration and communication to ensure seamless delivery of partner assets within a multi-stakeholder environment.

The Responsibilities:
n
Work collaboratively with Clubs to support the delivery of central partner matchday assets, including but not limited to static signage, LED signage, virtual signage, and other in-stadia promotional assets linked to sports presentation such as TVCs.
n
Manage the supply of correct partner artworks for central assets, liaising with Partner Managers, suppliers and contractors, and Clubs.
n
Coordinate the ordering and supply of central partner physical assets including Club and A-Leagues media backdrops, ball plinths, trophy plinths, tunnel branding, and other signage as required for the regular seasons, the Finals Series, and any other centralised events.
n
Uphold standards of commercial asset delivery across League and Club events and match days, ensuring all central partner commercial rights are delivered to an acceptable minimum standard.
n
Support the coordination, planning, and at times delivery, of central partner brand activations and 'money can't buy experiences', working with Partner Managers, partners and their agencies, and Clubs, to ensure a high quality and safe delivery of experiential contractual rights.
n
Facilitate the provision of central partner ticket and hospitality requests, working with Partner Managers to ensure requests are submitted, and with Clubs to ensure tickets are received and delivered, in a timely manner.
n
Build strong and productive relationships with Club representatives in key departments (including Commercial, Events, Ticketing and Membership, and Operations), through open and consistent communication, collaboration and proactive engagement.
n
Provide consistent support to Partner Managers for the planning and delivery of central partner contractual rights.
n
Support the Commercial and Events teams to deliver partners contractual rights at all centralised events, including the Finals Series, Commercial Content Day, and any other centralised events that may arise.
n
Provide assistance to the wider A-Leagues Commercial team when required, as instructed by the Senior Commercial Integration Manager.

About You:
n
A minimum of 3 years experience working in sports event management, ideally with experience in stadium operations, sponsorship, marketing and/or brand activations.
n
Exceptional attention to detail with an inherent ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise execution.
n
Superb written, presentation, and verbal communications skills.
n
Organised with proven experience undertaking administrative responsibilities.
n
Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills that can be applied at all levels of an organisation, with both internal and external stakeholders.
n
Self‐motivated, proactive, flexible and results oriented.
n
Relevant tertiary qualification in sport/business management or equivalent experience.
n
Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365 suite equivalent.
