As Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy mechanical workshop while ensuring our high standards of customer service, workmanship and efficiency are maintained. This is a hands-on management role suited to someone who is organised, confident with customers and enjoys leading a team in a busy workshop environment.

Key responsibilities

Managing the daily workflow and scheduling of the workshop
n
Leading, supporting and coordinating our team of technicians
n
Providing exceptional customer service and building/ maintaining solid customer relationships
n
Preparing quotes, explaining repairs and keeping customers updated
n
Ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard
n
Monitoring productivity and helping the workshop achieve weekly targets
n
Ordering and coordinating parts as required
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and professional workshop
n
Supporting and motivating staff while maintaining accountability and high standards
n
Working closely with the business owners to continually improve workshop operations
