Little Star Speech Therapy – Broadmeadow NSW
Little Star Speech Therapy is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join their established private practice in Newcastle on a casual basis. Initially 2 days per week with the opportunity to increase to 3 days as demand grows, you will work independently managing your own caseload and clinical day, while having an experienced clinician available for support and discussion when needed.
Key responsibilities
Manage your own caseload independently
Deliver high-quality paediatric speech pathology assessment and intervention services
Work with children, adolescents and their families across speech, language and communication disorders
Produce excellent report writing and clinical documentation
Build toward 5–6 clients per day
Collaborate with an experienced Speech Pathologist and Director when needed
About you
3+ years' clinical experience
Current Speech Pathology Australia membership/registration
Strong skills in paediatric assessment and intervention
Experience across speech, language and communication disorders
Excellent report writing and clinical documentation skills
The ability to independently manage a caseload




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A warm, approachable and family-centred manner
A commitment to evidence-based practice
Experience in stuttering/fluency, speech sound disorders, language, literacy and paediatric assessment will be highly regarded

We are an independent Newcastle practice, not a large corporate organisation. We value clinical expertise, professional autonomy and genuine relationships with families.
$60–$65 per hour + super, depending on experience
Flexible half-day or full-day options
Initially 2 days per week, with the opportunity to increase to 3 days
An established caseload with the prospect to build toward 5–6 clients per day
