Heatherbrae's Pies is on the lookout for an energetic and committed Junior Pastry Chef Apprentice who is keen to establish a rewarding career at our Origanil bakery at Heatherbrae.

You may be a school leaver that has an interest in cooking or food production and is looking for an excellent opportunity to get into the workforce and establish a long-term career with a friendly team, or alternatively you may have already commenced your apprenticeship (1st, 2nd or 3rd year) but are looking for a change of scenery with a current employer.

Key responsibilities

How to put together recipes and cook gourmet pie fillings
n
To prepare a range of pastry types; Puff, Crust, Shortbread etc
n
How to prepare different bread types, white, fruit, banana bread etc
n
