Randstad is currently looking for a reliable Medical Receptionist for an ASAP start to join a busy clinic on the Gold Coast. This is an ongoing casual role working 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday), requiring availability to work within practice hours of 7:30am to 5:30pm. This position has the opportunity to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.

About the role
n
As a medical receptionist, you'll be one of the first points of contact for patients, playing a key role in delivering the welcoming and professional experience the practice is known for. Your daily responsibilities will include:

Facilitating patient arrivals and managing the daily clinic flow.
n
Coordinating appointment scheduling and managing phone enquiries.
n
Providing administrative support to the General Practitioners and nursing team.
n
Processing Medicare, DVA, and private health fund billing with a high degree of accuracy.
n
Maintaining electronic patient records (Experience with Best Practice software is highly regarded).

About You

We are seeking a qualified who is comfortable navigating a fast-paced GP environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care. To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Significant experience within a General Practice or a similar clinical setting.
n
Availability to work 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday) within the practice hours of 7:30am to 5:30pm on an ongoing basis.
n
A natural ability to connect with people and provide empathetic support, especially during stressful or sensitive times.
n
Confidence in managing medical billing and using practice management software.
n
