We are seeking an experienced
Estimator
to support tendering, repricing and commercial analysis across a diverse project portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, stakeholder engagement and building robust cost models that drive competitive, profitable outcomes.
About the Role
As the Estimator, you will work closely with operational subject matter experts to develop, refine and maintain all estimating models. You will review tender documentation, assess civil scopes, interpret engineering drawings, and prepare detailed cost models across earthworks, drainage, TSF construction, structures and associated civil infrastructure.
You will play a key role in ensuring pricing accuracy, identifying efficiencies, and supporting both new project bids and repricing opportunities across current operating sites.
Key Responsibilities
Review tender documents, scopes, drawings, specifications and contract conditions
Develop and maintain cost models, ensuring accuracy and version control
Conduct site visits for tender meetings and scope assessments




Prepare detailed civil cost models (earthworks, drainage, TSF dams, lifts, structures)
Interpret civil engineering drawings, specifications and geotechnical reports
Collaborate with operational teams to refine estimates and identify efficiencies
Support repricing, variations and cost‐saving initiatives at current operating sites
Maintain accurate pricing records within the CRM (HubSpot)
Present tender submissions to clients when required
Skills & Attributes
Solid communication and stakeholder engagement capability
High attention to detail with strong analytical and modelling skills
Ability to interpret civil engineering drawings and technical documentation
Highly organised, proactive and able to manage competing deadlines
Experience Required
3+ years' experience in civil construction, haulage or mining
3+ years' experience in estimating
Strong civil construction background with cost estimation and/or surveying experience
Competent in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project
Experience with civil estimating software
Engineering or construction qualification (desirable but not essential
