The Role
n
We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Credit Risk Analyst to join our team on a 6-month fixed term contract based at our Parramatta office.
n
Working closely with our Finance and Sales teams, you'll support the management of customer accounts, commercial trade credit assessments and collections activities across a diverse B2B customer portfolio.
n
This is a hands‐on role that combines credit analysis, stakeholder engagement and customer relationship management.
n
The role is primarily focused on commercial credit risk activities, with dedicated time each week supporting collections for an assigned customer portfolio.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Credit & Commercial Risk Support
n
n
Assess new and existing commercial trade credit applications, including reviewing financial statements, credit bureau reports, trade references and payment performance.
n
Monitor customer credit limits, account performance and payment trends.
n
Balance commercial opportunities with appropriate credit risk controls while supporting sales growth.
n
Identify emerging risks and escape issues where required.
n
Maintain accurate customer records and credit documentation.
n
Assist with reporting and risk monitoring activities.
n
Work closely with Sales and internal stakeholders to achieve positive commercial outcomes.

Customer Account & Collections Support
n
n
Manage collections and payment follow-up across an assigned customer portfolio.
n
Negotiate payment outcomes and maintain strong customer relationships.
n
Monitor and report on payment deterioration or adverse trends.
n
Manage customer disputes and credit claims through to resolution.
n
Manage customer orders in line with approved credit limits.
n
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow‐up activities.
n
Collaborate with Sales and internal stakeholders to resolve issues impacting payment outcomes.
n

About You
n
You are a customer‐focused and commercially minded professional who enjoys problem solving, relationship building and achieving positive business outcomes.
n
Experience & Skills
n
n
Previous experience in Commercial Credit, Trade Credit,
Accounts Receivable or Collections within a B2B environment is essential.
n
Experience assessing customer credit applications and ongoing account performance.
n
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
n
Ability to analyse information and identify potential risks.
n
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
n
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
n
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
n
Experience in industries such as construction materials, manufacturing, industrial, building products, wholesale or distribution will be highly regarded.
