About the role MSS Security is looking for Part time and Casual Aviation Protection Officer to join our team at Ballina Airport. Play a key role in keeping passengers, staff and airport operations safe, while building your career in the aviation security industry.

Duties:
n
n
Conduct security screening of passengers, staff, and visitors
n
Operate screening equipment and security technology, including X-ray machines, metal detectors, and Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) systems.
n
Perform passenger, staff, visitor, and baggage screening to identify prohibited items, dangerous goods, and security threats.
n
Monitor and patrol airport facilities, reporting and responding to security incidents, breaches, and potential risks.
n

Requirements:
n
n
Full Australian working rights.
n
Current Driver's Licence
n




Strong communication and customer service skills.
n
Ability to undergo and pass a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing).
n
24/7 availability required for rotating roster.
n
