Job Description
Impact English College is an accredited provider of English Language Intensive Courses to Overseas Students (ELICOS) with campuses in Melbourne and Brisbane.
n
We are nowseeking experienced English language teachers for a range of teaching positions over the coming months. Working within a team setting, the successful applicants will be able to prepare and deliver high quality, dynamic ESL lessons.
n
General English teachers for on-going casual positions and cover/relief teaching with availability 5 days/week.
n
Essential Qualifications & Experience
n
A recognised Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent)
n
CELTA or recognised TESOL Certificate
n
Experience teaching General English courses in private ELICOS college settings
n
Exceptional TESOL classroom practitioner with a demonstrable understanding of TESOL methodology, programs and assessment practices
n
Sophisticated intercultural communication skills and understanding of the international student experience
n
Willingness and flexibility to teach across a range of courses,



levels and delivery modes
n
Effective time management and organisational skills to meet teaching, assessment and administration deadlines
n
Active contributor to positive staffroom collegiality/collaboration and workplace culture
n
Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and development
n
Available for both morning and afternoon classes
n
Able to cover classes at short notice
n
Teaching experience overseas
n

Impact teaching rates are in accordance with Educational Services (Post-Secondary Education) Award ****.
