About the role
n
Amtan Medical is seeking highly passionate Practice Nurses (RN/EN) to join our growing team across Pimpama & Ormeau. This role is ideal for proactive general practice nurses who can work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while providing clinical and procedural support to GPs in a busy primary care setting.

What you'll be doing
n
Pre-employment medicals including spirometry and drug & alcohol testing
n
Conduct CCMP's, health assessments & care plans
n
Immunisations (including childhood & adult schedules)
n
Wound care & procedure support
n
Assisting with skin procedures & minor surgeries
n
ECG's, ear syringing and other clinical procedures
n
Manage recalls, reminders, and chronic disease management
n
Infection control and cold chain management
n
Contribute to quality improvements and accreditation processes
n
Coordination of the treatment room: stock control, sterilisation, care of medical instruments and equipment, and general maintenance.
n
What we're looking for
n
Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) with AHPRA
n
Demonstrated experience in a general practice, preferably within the last one year
n
Recent graduates strongly encouraged to apply as full training provided for right candidate
n
Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously,



as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise with patients and their families
n
A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care and a passion for the nursing profession
n
Proficiency in using Best Practice & Hot Doc software
n
Must have unrestricted Australian work rights

Remuneration is under the Nurses Award based on experience and above award for the right candidate.
