n Duration: ASAP Start | 6 Month Assignment + Possibility of Extension
n Hours: 8.5 hours per day | 76 hours per fortnight
n Roster: 9-Day Fortnight

About the Role
n Transport for NSW is seeking two reliable and hardworking Road Worker / Truck Drivers to join the maintenance crew based in Hay. This is a hands‐on role involving road maintenance activities, truck driving, and general labouring duties to help maintain the safety and functionality of the local road network.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Operate an MR truck for daily inspections, transporting crew members, and towing equipment as required
n
Perform routine road maintenance and repair activities
n
Attend emergency call-outs when required
n
Undertake road pavement and pothole repairs
n
Assist with guardrail, signage, and guide post maintenance
n
Support traffic control activities
n
Carry out general labouring duties, including rubbish collection and site clean‐up
n
Safely use hand tools, power tools, and small plant equipment
n
Work effectively as part of a maintenance crew under the direction of the Team Leader
n

About You
n
n
Experience in road maintenance, civil construction, labouring, or similar outdoor work environments
n
Comfortable undertaking physically demanding work in varying weather conditions
n
Ability to work safely as part of a team and follow directions
n
Reliable, safety-focused, and willing to assist across a variety of maintenance tasks
n
MR Licence or higher with experience operating trucks preferred
n
n

Workers on Foot (WOF)

MR Licence or higher

Traffic Control (TC) Ticket or willingness to obtain
n
Ability to pass pre-employment checks
