Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service is seeking a talented Content Editor to join our Communications Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled writer who is passionate about creating engaging content and sharing stories that highlight positive community impact.
n
About the Role
n
You will develop, write and edit content across a range of platforms, including publications, websites, newsletters, speeches and executive communications. Working closely with staff, clients and stakeholders, you will help bring Derbarl's stories to life while ensuring a consistent and professional brand voice.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Researching and developing compelling stories and community-focused content.
n
Writing and editing content for digital and print channels.
n
Copywriting for high-level organisational communications.
n
Drafting speeches, media content and executive communications.
n
Supporting the production of publications, including Annual Reports and newsletters.
n
Managing and updating website content.
n
n
About You
n
You will have:
n
n
Qualifications (or be working towards qualifications) in journalism, communications, marketing or a related field.
n
Strong copywriting, editing and proofreading skills.
n
Experience creating engaging content for multiple audiences and platforms.




n
Knowledge of web content management systems.
n
Excellent communication and relationship‐building skills.
n
An understanding of, or genuine interest in, Aboriginal culture, stories and lived experiences.
n
2-3 years' experience in a copywriting, communications or content role.
n
Experience working within the health sector.
n
Skills in Adobe InDesign and Creative Suite applications.
n
n
