We are seeking an experienced Residential Custom Home Site Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of high-quality custom residential projects from construction through to completion.

This is a hands‐on site-based role suited to an experienced residential builder who is highly organised, quality-focused and confident coordinating trades, suppliers and subcontractors. You will be responsible for ensuring each project is delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the required quality standards.

You will be responsible for ensuring each project is delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Manage the daily operations and coordination of residential construction sites.
n
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, suppliers and deliveries.
n
Plan and sequence works to ensure projects remain on programme.
n
Monitor site progress and identify potential delays or issues early.
n
Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and in accordance with plans, specifications and relevant Australian Standards.
n
Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure defects are identified and rectified promptly.
n




Read and interpret architectural drawings, engineering plans, design schedules and construction documentation.
n
Coordinate inspections, consultants and relevant authorities throughout the build.
n
Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised site.
n
Implement and monitor WHS requirements, site safety procedures and compliance.
n
Manage site inductions and ensure subcontractors comply with site rules and safety requirements.
n
Coordinate materials and ensure required products are available when needed.
n
Liaise regularly with the Project team, clients, designers and consultants.
n
Provide regular updates on project progress, upcoming works, variations, delays and potential issues.
n
Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, photographs and relevant construction documentation.
n
Assist with managing variations and ensure additional works are properly documented and approved.
n
Manage the finishing and handover stages, including defect identification, rectification and final completion.
n
Build and maintain strong working relationships with trades and subcontractors.
n
Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients and project stakeholders.

About You
n
The successful candidate will have:
n
n




Proven experience as a Site Manager, Site Supervisor or Foreman within residential construction.
n
Strong experience delivering custom or high-end residential homes.
n
A minimum of 5 years' relevant residential construction experience.
n
Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, sequencing and building practices.
n
Experience with scheduling & programming of residential construction projects from site set up to completion.
n
Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and construction documentation.
n
Experience using construction management or project management software.
n
Excellent trade and subcontractor coordination skills.
n
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
n
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
n
Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep projects moving.
n
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
n
A practical, hands‐on approach to construction.
n
Ability to work independently and take ownership of project outcomes.
n
Strong understanding of WHS requirements and site compliance.
n
Current White Card.
n
Current driver's licence.
n
Relevant building/construction qualifications
