HEH Civil is seeking a Safety Officer to support a project-based team in Cairns / Far North Queensland.
Reporting to the Systems Manager, this role is based onsite in the project site office and will support day-to-day safety, environmental and quality activities for the project.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport site inspections, audits, task observations and hazard reportingAssist with risk assessments, SWMS, incidents and corrective actionsHelp maintain HSEQ documentation, records,



training and toolbox talksSupport the Integrated Management System and ISO **** / ISO ***** requirementsAbout YouCertificate IV in Workplace Health and SafetyConstruction White Card and current Queensland Driver's LicenceGood communication skills and confidence working with site teamsWillingness to learn and build practical safety experience in civil constructionExperience in safety, WHS, HSEQ, civil construction or DTMR projects will be highly regarded, but is not essentialWhat We OfferFixed-term project role with potential for future opportunitiesSupportive project team setting with practical site exposureCompany laptop providedThis is not a FIFO role.
The successful candidate will need to be based in Cairns or the Far North Queensland region and able to work onsite from the project site office.
