Many of our team have built lasting careers with us, bringing deep experience to specialised, high-value, and often time or compliance critical work across project cargo and critical freight.The Role: Freight Operations TraineeAs a Freight Operations Trainee, this is a great opportunity to kick-start your career in freight and logistics.
You'll learn the ropes of freight forwarding and transport operations while building practical skills and industry experience along the way.We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, has a positive can-do attitude and is ready to get involved.




No previous freight experience is required - you'll receive on-the-job training and support from an experienced mentor while completing your formal training and qualification.Employment type: Full time, PermanentRoster: Monday - FridayYour responsibilities will include:Collecting and processing freight forwarding documentation and assisting with coordinating shipment movementsAssisting with the prompt and timely dispatch of consignmentsMonitoring and tracking consignments and keeping relevant stakeholders informed of progressLiaising with internal and external stakeholders to build positive working relationshipsRegistering jobs and maintaining accurate information across company systems and databasesCollating and processing freight documentation accurately and on timeAssisting with quotations for worldwide shipmentsLiaising with overseas agents, airlines and shipping lines regarding rates, schedules and servicesProcessing and facilitating client invoicingCompleting job files and ensuring all relevant documentation is organised and maintainedSupporting the wider operations team to achieve service levels and maintain strong communicationOperating a forklift to safely load, unload and move stockWhat you'll need:A full current driver's licenceA forklift licence (HRWL), or willingness to obtain oneExperience working in an office environment would be advantageous,
