Rockhampton Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse (Grade 6) to join the Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMHS) ward on a contract basis. This is a focused chance to contribute to a specialist mental health service supporting young people in the Rockhampton region. The role runs from 25 August **** through to 18 September ****, offering a salary of AUD***** to AUD***** per hour. Deliver direct clinical care to children and young people in a specialist mental health environment

Preferred Requirements
n
n
Solid experience in mental health nursing,



with demonstrated competence in assessment and care planning
n
Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health presentations and therapeutic approaches
n
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced clinical environment
n
Excellent communication skills, particularly when engaging with young people and their families
n
Current knowledge of mental health legislation, duty of care, and clinical governance standards
n
n
Preferred Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated specialist experience in mental health nursing
n
Current First Aid and CPR certification
