Bring your energy to Aggreko as Mechanical Project Engineer based in regional Queensland.We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our project delivery team delivering hybrid power on a major mine development project in regional Queensland.
This is a site-based role working a 2/1 roster, with travel arranged from Brisbane.Reporting to the Lead Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of mechanical works packages, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.Prospect to be pivotal in the delivery of a land mark Renewable Power ProjectCompetitive compensation – Base Salary + Site Uplift + Super +BonusSafety-focused cultureA range of career development opportunitiesWhat you'll do as Mechanical Project Engineer;Manage and coordinate mechanical scope of works, including structural/mechanical infrastructure installation, piping, generators and associated fuel systems.
Liaise and coordinate with other disciplines (civil,
electrical etc.)Review and interpret mechanical design documentation, drawings, and specificationsCoordinate subcontractors and mechanical trades to ensure works are delivered safely, on program, and to specificationPrepare and manage mechanical work packages, including scopes of work, procurement, and construction schedulesLiaise with client representatives, engineers, designers and other project stakeholdersMonitor and report on progress, cost, and quality against project targetsIdentify and manage project risks, variations, and changes in scopeSupport pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including liaison with commissioning engineersEnsure compliance with relevant Australian Standards, engineering codes, and site-specific HSE requirementsContribute to the development of construction methodologies and ITPs for mechanical worksParticipate in site safety inductions,
