Part-Time Childcare Kitchen Hand Bambini of Lilyfield Sydney, NSW, AUJob DescriptionAs our Kitchen Hand, you will be focused on safely receiving, reheating, portioning and serving meals, carefully managing children's individual dietary and allergy requirements, and keeping our kitchen exceptionally clean and organised.
This is not a traditional childcare cook role.
Our meals are prepared and delivered to the service, so there is no menu planning or cooking meals from scratch.Key responsibilitiesReceiving and safely storing delivered mealsReheating and portioning meals ready for children's meal timesEnsuring meals are served at appropriate and safe temperaturesCarefully managing children's individual dietary, allergy and medical requirementsPreventing cross-contamination and following food safety proceduresMaintaining accurate food safety and temperature records as requiredWashing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipmentMaintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchenMaintaining appropriate stock levels and advising when kitchen supplies need replenishingWorking cooperatively with educators to ensure children's meals are prepared and delivered to rooms on timeAbout youFull Australian working rights - this role is based in Lilyfield,
