From our bustling restaurant and takeaway kiosk to catering for guests arriving by boat, no two services are quite the same.We are now looking for an experienced and ambitious Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team.This is an opportunity for someone who loves being on the floor, developing people and creating memorable guest experiences — while building their management career within an established and growing hospitality group.About the RoleWorking closely with the Restaurant Manager, you will be an integral part of Chiosco's day-to-day leadership team.You'll lead from the floor, support the development of our FOH team and help ensure every service delivers the relaxed but polished hospitality Chiosco is known for.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting the Restaurant Manager with the daily operation of the venueLeading and supervising the FOH team during serviceTraining, coaching and developing team membersMaintaining high standards of guest service and presentationManaging reservations, table flow and guest experienceAssisting with rostering,
labour management and operational cost controlsCompleting daily operational and financial reportingSupporting beverage, food and service trainingMaintaining strong communication between FOH, BOH and managementLeading by example and creating a positive, professional team cultureWhat We're Looking ForYou are a confident hospitality professional who genuinely enjoys service and wants to continue developing as a leader.Ideally, you will bring:Previous supervisory or management experience within a busy restaurant environmentExperience within Italian restaurants or strong knowledge and appreciation of Italian cuisineStrong food and wine knowledgeA current NSW RSAFull Australian working rightsFluent spoken and written EnglishStrong understanding of hospitality cost control and commercial performanceConfidence with daily operational and financial reportingExcellent communication, organisation and delegation skillsStrong attention to detail and personal presentationThe ability to remain calm and organised during busy servicesA genuine ability to recognise and build relationships with returning guestsA positive,
hands‐on approach to leadershipAvailability across a flexible hospitality roster including weekends and public holidaysKnowledge of the Italian language is welcomed but is not essential.Experience with SevenRooms or another restaurant reservation platform, along with formal hospitality qualifications, would also be highly regarded.Why Join Chiosco?
