Programmed Maintenance Services – Somersby NSWProgrammed has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fitter to join the maintenance team at our client site in Somersby.
Our client is the manufacturer of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete, producing innovative, sustainable and high-performance building products used throughout residential and commercial construction across Australia.
This is a hands‐on role supporting plant reliability, equipment performance, and operational excellence across a large‐scale manufacturing setting.About the RoleReporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring production equipment is maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability and efficiency.Key responsibilities include:Breakdown diagnosis and fault-finding on plant and production equipmentPreventative and predictive maintenance activitiesMechanical repairs, overhauls and component replacementWorking on pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systemsAssisting with shutdowns and capital improvement projectsIdentifying and implementing continuous improvement initiativesMaintaining accurate maintenance records through CMMS systemsEnsuring compliance with site safety, quality and environmental requirementsSupporting apprentices and contributing to team development initiativesAbout YouTo be successful in this role you will possess:Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or Fitter & TurnerCurrent NSW White Card or willingness to obtainSignificant experience within a manufacturing, industrial, mining,
