Project Manager – Major Energy Development (Owner's Team)
Location: Perth CBD (On-site)
Contract Duration: Initial 3-month contract with strong chance of extension
Hours: Monday–Friday | 40 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP / short notice preferred
Rate: Competitive hourly rate + super (based on experience)
Are you an experienced Project Manager with oil & gas / LNG / gas infrastructure experience and strong FEED / FID capability?
Chandler Macleod is partnering with a leading resources organisation to support a major WA energy development.
This is an owner's team / client-side project leadership role focused on governance, stakeholder engagement, and delivery oversight as the project progresses through engineering studies, approvals and execution readiness.
Key responsibilities
Provide project leadership across development and delivery activities
Drive governance, reporting, and project controls
Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams and external contractors/consultants
Support schedule, budget, risk and commercial management




Lead stakeholder engagement with partners, regulators and internal teams
Champion secure delivery and effective risk management
What you bring
Proven project management background in energy, LNG, gas, resources or major infrastructure
Strong understanding of FEED, approvals pathways, and FID readiness
High-level stakeholder management and communication skills
Contract/commercial awareness and disciplined risk management
Must have full working rights to work in Australia and be based in Perth, WA
