Role: Infrastructure EngineerDay Rate: $650 - $668 + SuperContract Length: 12-months (high chance of extension)Location: Ultimo/WFH FlexWe are looking for a senior, hands-on Infrastructure Engineer with deep experience across Active Directory, Windows Server and VMware, and a robust background delivering AD security, hardening and remediation initiatives in complex enterprise environments.The role will suit an engineer who is comfortable maintaining critical Windows infrastructure, but who can also take ownership of security-focused Active Directory initiatives and work closely with Architecture, Cyber Security and project teams.The RoleYou'll be responsible for supporting, administering and improving core server infrastructure, with a particular focus on Active Directory, Windows Server and VMware.Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering, administering and supporting enterprise Active Directory environmentsDriving AD security uplift, hardening and remediation initiativesManaging Domain Controllers, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and related identity infrastructureSupporting complex multi-domain and/or multi-forest Active Directory environmentsIdentifying AD security risks and implementing appropriate remediationAdministering Windows Server *********Managing VMware environments through vCenter 7+Performing VMware ESXi host upgrades, patching and lifecycle activitiesManaging Windows Server patching through Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)Troubleshooting complex infrastructure,



identity and server-related issuesWorking closely with Cyber Security, Architecture and project teamsContributing to infrastructure design, documentation, change and continuous improvementAbout YouActive Directory Domain ServicesDNS and DHCPGroup Policy design, administration and hardeningActive Directory security and remediation projectsWindows Server ****, **** and ****VMware vSphere / vCenter 7+ESXi administration and upgradesMECM / SCCM for Windows Server patchingEnterprise infrastructure troubleshooting and root-cause analysisWe are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate experience personally driving security-focused AD initiatives such as:AD and GPO hardeningPrivileged access remediationService account / gMSA improvementsDomain and forest trust remediationPKI / certificate-related securityLegacy authentication remediationSecurity baseline implementationMulti-domain or multi-forest AD remediationWorking with Cyber Security teams to address identity and infrastructure riskExperience in any of the following would be highly regarded:Linux - RHEL and/or UbuntuMicrosoft Hyper-VCisco UCS and/or HyperFlexBeyond the technology, you'll be someone who communicates clearly, approaches problems analytically and can work effectively across BAU, architecture and project teams.This role will suit an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys being technically hands-on while still having exposure to strategic infrastructure projects and enterprise-scale environments.
