Civil Construction Worker / Underground UtilitiesThis is a varied, hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys working across different areas of underground civil construction rather than doing the same task every day.
The role will involve working alongside civil and HDD crews on a range of infrastructure projects throughout South East Queensland, including works within TMR road corridors and active rail corridors.Key responsibilitiesPit and pipe installationOpen excavation and trenching worksUnderground service relocation worksCivil construction works within active rail corridorsWorking with and operating excavators ranging from 1.7 tonne through to 30 tonneVacuum excavation and vac truck operationHorizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) assistant / drill hand dutiesConduit and pipe installationAbout youCurrent Construction White Card – mandatoryCurrent MR truck licence or above – mandatoryAbility to pass project and rail‐related medical, drug and alcohol, and competency requirements where requiredWillingness to work within rail corridors, TMR road corridors and other major infrastructure environmentsStrong commitment to workplace safetyMust be able to reliably travel to Narangba baseReliable, safety focused, willing to learn and able to work effectively as part of a teamExperience in pit and pipe construction, underground utilities, civil excavation and trenching, rail corridor civil construction,
