Trades Assistant – (Fabrication work, day shift, $40 ph full time hours Mon to Fri with early finish on Friday (Carole Park)We are urgently seeking a Trade Assistant for work with a highly reputable business located in Carole Park.
The role will be a casual to permanent assignment you will be responsible for general assistance to the fabrication team with experience assisting Boilermakers and Fabricators preferred.
The position has full- time hours, day shift Monday to Thursday 7.00 am to 3.20 pm Friday 7.00 am – 1.00 pm, hourly rate starting at $40 per hour.

side loader experience desirableReasonable physical fitness and experience manual handling and use of power toolsOrganised with excellent communication skillsBe dedicated to safe working practice and have a positive and team focused attitude.Two contactable work refereesAvailability to start asapWhat you will be doing as a Fabrication Trades Assistant:Review workorders ensure materials are available and pre picked and delivered to bayStrap and move fabricated work to pre-gal storageUse of counterbalance and side loader forklifts to transfer products from factory to yard as requiredCutting, grinding and deburring of poles and doorsLabelling stamping and engraving of componentsGeneral labouring and assisting fabricators.
