As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to patients and the wider medical team.
Key responsibilities
Working approx 2-3 days per week, but from time to time will be more to cover staff leave when required
Greeting and welcoming patients with a friendly and professional manner
Answering calls, responding to inquiries and scheduling appointments
Handling patient inquiries and providing information about consultations and procedures
Collecting and processing patient referrals and other documentation
Taking payments in person and over the phone.
Reconciling as required
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
Providing general administrative support to the medical team as required
About you
Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a customer service-oriented role within the healthcare industry
Robust communication and interpersonal skills,



with the ability to interact with patients, clinicians, and other staff members
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
Proficient in computer use
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
