This is a casual position offered on an ongoing long-term roster working a lifestyle-friendly 7/7 roster.
October start.About the RoleWorking as part of a close-knit, high-performing team, you will deliver safe, efficient and compliant structural remediation and maintenance services to the onsite Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP).
Your responsibilities will include:Performing maintenance works involving heavy and structural steel fabricationComplete plate work, pipe work, welding, cutting and fitting of steel componentrySupport planned maintenance, breakdown and project CHPP worksRead and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specificationsInspect and maintain tools and equipmentComplete pre-starts, JHAs and risk assessmentsWork safely in accordance with permit-to-work systems,



isolation procedures, site requirements and applicable Australian StandardsWhat You'll NeedYou will be an experienced Boilermaker with a robust commitment to safety and previous experience completing structural remediation or fixed-plant maintenance within a CHPP environment.
You will have:Australian-recognised Boilermaker trade qualificationAbility to successfully complete a welding testCurrent Australian Driver's Licence - C class minimumWorking at Heights & Confined Space (within 2 years)Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)Current Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)BMA Core Inductions or SC Number is Highly AdvantageousClear communication and people skillsAbility to work effectively with site management and clientsAn uncompromising commitment to workplace health and safetyWhy Join Linkforce?
