We're seeking an exceptional Dispatch Manager to lead our transport, dispatch and yard operations, ensuring products move safely, efficiently and on time from manufacturing through to customer delivery and branch locations.
This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll drive transport efficiency, optimise loading and dispatch operations, improve fleet utilisation and create a culture of operational excellence.
Your remit
Reporting to the State Manager, you will lead the daily coordination of dispatch and transport activities across a busy manufacturing environment.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
Improve transport management utilisation and delivery efficiencyDrive operational improvements that reduce costs and increase productivityOptimise dispatch schedules and delivery planningEnsure safe, accurate and damage-free loading practicesCreate a culture focused on accountability, safety and operational excellenceLead and develop a high-performing dispatch and yard teamEnhance customer delivery performance and service levels
You will oversee dispatch operations, transport scheduling, yard management, customer pick-ups and loading activities while ensuring safety remains front and centre in everything you do.
About you
You are a proactive and passionate transport/logistics/dispatch leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys balancing people leadership with operational performance.
You'll bring:
Proven experience in dispatch, transport, logistics, warehousing or supply chain operationsStrong experience leading operational teams in a manufacturing, transport or distribution environmentDemonstrated success improving transport efficiency,



service performance and operational productivityExcellent planning, scheduling and problem-solving capabilitiesA relentless focus on safety, customer service and continuous improvementStrong systems and data analysis capability
