This is an opportunity to join a long-term project and play an important role in building a high-performing production team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, supervise and support production crews to achieve daily targetsCoordinate day-to-day mining activities and allocate resources effectivelyPromote and maintain a strong safety culture across the operationMonitor production performance, equipment utilisation and operational efficiencyIdentify and implement opportunities for continuous improvementConduct pre-starts, toolbox meetings and other crew communicationsEnsure compliance with site procedures,



policies and relevant legislationWork closely with Maintenance and other site departments to coordinate operational requirementsProvide coaching, mentoring and performance feedback to team membersReport on production performance, safety and operational issuesSupport the development of a positive, accountable and high-performing team environmentAbout YouDemonstrated experience in a Production Supervisor or similar leadership role within a mining environmentStrong experience in open-cut production miningProven ability to lead, motivate and develop operational teamsStrong understanding of production, safety and operational processesExperience working with excavators, dozers and other production mining equipment highly regardedStrong communication, organisational and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a rapid-paced and changing operational environmentCommitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvementCurrent relevant RII competencies and mining qualificationsCurrent Australian driver's licenceWhy MacKellar?
