Reporting to the Manager, Asset Maintenance and Preservation, you will play a vital role in leading the estimating and asset support functions, ensuring tenders are accurately scoped, commercially sound and aligned with operational capability.

asset management and project deliveryBe part of a team committed to sustainable development and ecological transformationWhat you'll be responsible forLead and develop the estimating and asset support teamSet performance expectations and support employee developmentLead preparation of accurate, competitive estimates and tender submissionsAnalyse scopes, specifications, drawings and contracts to confirm project requirementsMaintain accurate asset registers covering location, condition, availability and complianceDevelop asset inspection, servicing and preventative maintenance schedulesLead tender handovers to operations and project teamsMonitor actual costs against estimates and investigate variancesMaintain organised and version-controlled estimating, tender and asset recordsEnsure compliance with Veolia requirements, client obligations and legislationWhat you'll need to be successfulTrade, technical or tertiary qualification, or equivalent experience in estimating, blasting and painting operationsProven estimating and tendering experience in abrasive blasting, surface preparation, industrial painting and protective coatingsPrepare detailed cost estimates, budgets and tender submissionsStrong knowledge of blasting/painting methods, productivity, coating systems, materials, plant, access, containment, quality and delivery risksInterpret technical specifications, drawings and contractsCommercial acumen including cost build-ups and marginsExperience with blasting/painting plant and equipment inspection, maintenance, compliance and mobilisationLeadership, planning and stakeholder management skillsWhy Veolia?
