Position Details Five-year contract I Full Time Higher Education Officer Level 6 I $94,456 - $100,710 pa | 17% SuperAbout the RoleThe Engagement and Communications Officer supports the profile, reach and impact of the Factory of the Future through the delivery of engaging communications, marketing and stakeholder engagement activities.
Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, the role coordinates events, digital content, promotional initiatives and industry engagement activities that support Flinders Factory of the Future's strategic objectives and strengthen its reputation and connections.In this position, you will also:Coordinate industry engagement activities, events, workshops and site visitsDevelop engaging content across digital, social media and marketing channelsManage the Flinders Factory of the Future's digital presence and communicationsBuild stakeholder relationships and support reporting, evaluation and continuous improvementAbout YouYou are a proactive and highly organised communications and engagement professional with strong written communication skills and a talent for creating engaging, audience-focused content.
You bring experience coordinating events, digital communications and stakeholder engagement activities, and are confident working across multiple projects and deadlines.
You build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders and can balance strategic thinking with hands‐on delivery, using initiative, sound judgement and attention to detail to achieve high-quality outcomes.As an Engagement and Communications Officer, you will also demonstrate:Relevant qualifications in marketing, communications, public relations, events management or a related discipline, with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experienceExperience developing and delivering communications and marketing content across digital channels, including websites, social media, newsletters and email marketingExperience coordinating events, stakeholder engagement activities and promotional initiatives, including planning, logistics and evaluationExperience using a range of content management, CRM, social media, email marketing and design platforms (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent tools).
